Acne Care Programs and the Causes of Acne

It is widely acknowledged that acne is the consequence of hormonal irregularities within the body. Teen acne, acne during pregnancy or menstruation have a obvious link to times when the body has such imbalances happening. There are two possibilities actually. First, you have a hormonal imbalance already that hinders your body from absorbing the food correctly resulting in further acne outbreaks.

Or, the food itself causes a hormonal imbalance resulting in acne outbreaks. As you can see they are each interconnected and we still have one more to go!

3. Stress and Emotional Issues

A lot has been written concerning the effects of stress and emotional elements as being a prime cause of acne. Yet again, this is not completely correct.

The end product of stress or unwanted emotional elements will be a disruption to your body’s normal functions. So from that we can deduce that the stress will set off hormonal imbalance and that will lead to acne.

However we can flip the coin on that as well. If you already have a hormonal disturbance then your body will not be operating properly. This results in perceptions of stress or emotional disturbance. That in turn leads to more hormonal disturbance and results in acne. It operates both ways!

In reality these three parts are utterly and inseparably interrelated. Your acne problem is quite exclusive to you, your lifestyle and your body. There actually can be no one size fits all acne treatment for the reason that your acne is the only one of it’s kind.

The most effective acne treatment regime is a program that acknowledges the three sources of acne and their connection on each other. It must also recognize how these three components are running in you as a person.
